Another Year, Another Helping Hand
On 7/20/20 TRG Halls donated and delivered 250 food boxes for The Alcy Ball Development Corporation in Memphis, TN. We are happy that TRG has been able to stay consistent in its giving and strengthen its relationship with a community in need. This year, TRG Halls was able to donate an additional 100 boxes to help restore the once thriving Alcy Ball neighborhood both economically and socially.
The historic Alcy Ball community has declined over the past 30 years due to schools, families, and businesses moving elsewhere. This has led to 66.4% of residents to have an annual income less than $25,000.
The Alcy Ball Development Corporation is pursuing the following goals to improve the neighborhood:
