MaxPak Kicked off the Year by Hosting MSC’s Monthly Meeting​

The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Alliance of Mid-Florida has been serving their region for over 13 years. Kevin Bailey, GM of MaxPak currently holds the position of MSCA‘s President. Their membership is around 150 companies and growing. MSCA works with companies throughout the Polk County community and beyond to provide information in key areas of labor, supply chain management and workforce development. In addition, they also raise money to support education with scholarship programs for manufacturing companies and their employees.

The MaxPak team hosted a lunch and learn discussion on January 19th concerning the economic forecast for 2023 followed by a tour of the MaxPak facility. Kevin Bailey and Rich Berg spoke on current economic trends, 2023 labor outlook, and effects on capital investments. The event had a great turnout with 40 attendees from various manufacturing facilities.

MSCA’s mission is to be THE resource for all things related to the manufacturing & supply chain industries by providing advocacy, awareness, education, and partnerships throughout the mid-Florida region. The leadership of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Alliance of Mid-Florida, formerly Polk Manufacturing Association (PMA), is working to find ways that we can collaborate and encourage each other to effectively face and overcome the many challenges facing us.
